• About Me; Rayvn was born an omen, at least that's what her mother always told her. Rayvn didn't remember much about her mother, except that her mouth was always set in the same grim line and that she was always angry at Rayvn for something. Born in France in 1990, Rayvn and her twin sister Laela couldn't have been more different. Laela was born with red hair, like her mother, but Rayvn's hair was jet black, which could only be attested to the worn photograph of the girls' father that Delilah kept in her sock drawer. The man in the photo was a stranger to the girls, who, despite their differences, were attached at the hip (not literally). All Rayvn can remember about her mother and sister's death is the way her mother pleaded with her to take her sister and run and the sound her sister made when she fell. Rayvn tried to turn around but the world went white and when she awoke, she was looking into the worried face of an older woman who stated her name was Meme. Meme raised the girl from seven forward, teaching her the ways of the Wicca all the while telling her it was in her blood. The woman took her far into the English countryside and instructed her on the Earth and it's beauty. They lived a secluded life, away from technology and the advancement of the world. Rayvn grew to love music and literature and the earth, as Meme had taught her the piano, and brought the once ignorant girl into a world of ancient texts and fantastic stories about powerful women who were born to battle the darkness. Meme took the secret of her origins to the grave with her, when she passed, and left instructions for Rayvn to continue her study at a Coven in London. - - Rayvn is naive and quirky, having spent her a good majority of her life around no one but her faithful dog Dagda who never left her side and her caregiver, Meme, who had some quirks of her own. She hadn't even seen a boy in a good 12 years, until she traveled to London. She is unaware of her looks, and tends to be a bit spacy at times. She has dreams of helping fight back the darkness that Meme brought to her attention. She is very skilled in herbs, potions, and her spellcasting is extremely advanced for her age.
