It was the month of June, and that means Evie's Birthday is coming up. He didn't know what to get her. She would probably tell him not to get her anything this year with what he spent and what he owes on the ring and all, but wouldn't he look like a lame ass lover if he didn't get his girl something for her b-day? He was out shopping for a gift not knowing what to get her. They were throwing her a party, but who knows if it was going to happen really it was going to be on a Saturday Night, but well now that she is a slayer her watcher would probably have had a cow, so it is going to be one at the beach like they did with Reah and Deklan should be home from recording sort of as a surprise to Evie.
He was strolling the Mall, and wound up in some coffee shop. He does love his coffee after all. He was meeting a girl he met a while back her name is Ronnie. She seemed like a sweet girl when he had met her in a coffee shop one odd day. She was from the states and was new to England she was getting settled in and was coming here for schooling so it had to be a big change for her. She likes a lot of the same things he does. She was learning guitar and song writing. He and Evie used to have a band, but things right now kind of went side way on that with the supernatural beasties being out and about and all, but it wasn't something he could tell Ronnie. He was unaware that she is a slayer. They are supposed to be a secret or so he is told.
Riley has no clue she may or may not have met his fiancée. He didn't really mention that he had one. He did mention that he had a girlfriend. Their engagement was pretty recent too. It was a nice Saturday afternoon out a good day to hang out with friends. Evie was spending sometime with Reah, and that was good for the two of them. Riley ordered his coffee and sat at one of the table and watched the people pass by the shop. He pulled out his phone and was checking twitter and his e-mail and all as he waited for Ronnie to show up. He hasn't seen her in a while so it would be a good day to meet up. Have a coffee and chill see what she has been up to and how her guitar playing was going. Who knows maybe they will meet up with other friends.. Anything is possible on a nice day right?
- sorry kind of lame. I stink at starting threads-

It was already the month of June which meant that it has been a total year that Ronnie has been in England. She also knew that her birthday was coming up but she didn't feel like celebrating it this year since she barely had any time to play on her guitar or make any songs anymore since she has been busy with slaying, her part time other job and her school work. She also has a watcher with another Slayer named Evie.
She decided on going to the mall that day just to take a look around while bringing her guitar and her school work just in case she could be able to play when she is done with her school work. Ronnie also got a phone call from her friend Riley that she hasn't seen in awhile at all. She headed toward the coffee shop in the mall after she got there from walking.
Ronnie walked into the coffee shop with her shoulder bag overflowing with some of her work plus her slayer reading and her guitar in its case. She walked into line and got her self a coffee before she saw Riley sitting at a table. She walked over to him with her brown hair moving behind her as she said "Hi Riley." Before plopping down in the seat across from him. Today Ronnie is wearing shorts and a light purple tee shirt with her brown hair down and blow dried that day so it wasn't going to curl at all.
((So sorry it took so long but I am at school on my phone so it isn't all that pretty but there you go!!))

Riley always loved his coffee. There was always something refreshing about it. It kept him going and lately he could so use a coffee iv drip or something with Evie being out slaying and him being worried. He doesn't know that Ronnie and Evie are training together or that she is a Slayer too. Riley just think Ronnie is your avg everyday American girl who came over here for schooling. Was that daft of him to think? Of course not! Every girl these days could be possible slayer though.
He was sat there sipping on his coffee. He didn't seem to see Ronnie too much. Could be the fact that he was always under a car getting dirty. He does love working on cars so this is an easy class for him. He actually can't wait till he gets his full credentials as a licensed mechanic. Who knows them maybe one day he could own his own shop. He would love that really. The band thing is on hold right now after all so a mechanics shop would be mint. He had seen Ronnie come in wearing a purple tee, and shorts on she looks casual and very pretty as usual. If most didn't know he had a girl they probably would think it was a date eh? Could he blame people for thinking that though with his track record before he got with Evie and that little gossip blog that got out about his sexual endeavors and who he has done it with.
She had sat down across from him and said hi. "Why hello there Ronnie. Long time no see how have you been? You look stunning as usual." he had asked and told her of how stunning she looks. It was good to compliment a lady now wasn't it? He did so to Evie all the time. She always looks amazing! Even out of bed she looks gorgeous and he could just stare at her and into her eyes all day and it was she who he was shopping for her birthday was coming up. Riley was one that couldn't wait for the summer to begin. It would mean more time with his girl during the day and to do other stuff and party, but his partying has been on the minimal lately because he is worried to death about her out there and has been staying home drinking him self into a stupor there.
He seen she had her bag and her guitar bag. "How's the playing and writing been coming along? Anything new going on?" he had asked. He was a bit curious and hoped that she didn't mind him asking and all. He checked his messages on twitter and stuff once more before placing his phone on the table. His brother was always updating them on what was going on. It often makes Riles wonder if Dek is getting to big for his britches with his stardom. They really were lucky to have caught a break and he surely is enjoying every minute of it so it seems, and Riley can't wait to see the guys when they come back for a bit this summer. "Are you excited for school almost being out?"

Ronnie sat down opposite of Riley as she dropped her bag and her guitar case on the ground. When she did drop her bag on the ground some of the contents spilled out revealing a wooden stake, and her vampire book that she was reading so that she can be ready for any of the vamps that might be coming her way. She saw the contents on the ground and got out of her chair quickly so that she could pick that stuff up so that Riley wouldn't see them since she knew that being a slayer means that you can't tell anyone and she wouldn't want to think of what her watcher might say if she found out. Well she could picture it in her head she getting yelled at and getting trained harder and faster by her.
Ronnie was already sore from the last two meetings that she had from her new watcher and with Evie. She looked at her friend when she heard him say "Why hello there Ronnie. Long time no see how have you been? You look stunning as usual." She smiled at him and said "Oh just peachy. Been busy with school, working and trying to squeeze in some time with my guitar. How about you?" As she smiled at Riley trying hard not to show him any of the pain that she has from the training and patrolling that she does at night which she just thinks is bogus that she has to do that stuff. She yawned some since she didn't really get all that much sleep any more and that was one of the reasons why she came here to the coffee shop.
She picked up her coffee and took a long needed sip of it. She smiled when she put it down and heard Riley ask her "How's the playing and writing been coming along? Anything new going on?" She sighed as she looked down at her guitar for a few seconds before saying to Riley "No not really been way to busy with school, working and patro...homework." She almost let slip patrolling and then she would be chewed by her new watcher and get even more sore tomorrow. She sighed as she moved some of her brown hair away from her face some. When she did she remembered that the night before she was attacked by a vampire and got bruised pretty bad on her face so she moved some of her hair real fast back to her cheek so that it could try and hid the bruise from the vampire.
She heard Riley ask her "Are you excited for school almost being out?" She beamed at him as she said "Oh yeah but I am also going to miss it some as well but maybe I could get in some more practice on my guitar though well maybe that is if the cafe at the school doesn't have me working during the summer or if I find another job that well take up my time or if my watcher makes me practice and patrol harder." She said the last part in a mumble since she likes having a watcher but she also liked it when she didn't since then she could practice when she wanted and patrol on the nights that she wanted and none of this schedule nightly patrollings along with practicing from midday to five then patrol then sleep then go to school and start all over again. Riley had seen the stake and vampire book fall out of her bag and raised a brow at that but didn't say anything of the matter and shrugged it off as if he hadn't seen it, but inside his head was wondering if she was a slayer too like Evie. He couldn't ask it would be too forward wouldn't it. They are supposed to be secret after all and couldn't risk the general public hearing them. Could this be why she is coming to school here?
She had told him that she has been peachy just been busy with school so she really hasn't had time to play much or write. She has been trying to squeeze sometime in. "Yeah sometimes school does suck and kicks you in the ass like that. I am glad I chose something I really love and enjoy doing so for me it isn't too bad and I have been pretty well. "he told her, sipping his coffee. "Basically as of late have been going to school, work and trying to make as much money as I can right now. I asked my girlfriend to marry me and the ring wasn't cheap. Sure, she would be perfectly fine with a cheap one, but she deserves the best. I don't want something that will turn her finger green ya know. You should meet her sometime." He didn't know they have already and he hoped she wouldn't give him the boy are you crazy look that most people give him when he says he got engaged.
He had asked her if she was excited about school, and listened to what she had to say on it and how she would miss it a little bit, but it would give her a bit more time on her guitar. "That would be good, and I am sure you will be a pro in no time at all." he said complimenting her. "So I take it you are going to be staying here for the summer and not going back to the states to visit family?" he asked her. He knew her birthday was towards the end of June. June really did seem like a popular month for birthdays. Perhaps he should get her a gift for hers too. He had seen the slight bruise she had on her but had not mentioned it. He thinks she is what Evie is. He can put two and two together after all.
"Been to any good parties lately?" he knew she too liked to party that was something they had in common besides the love of coffee. Riley himself has been to a few, but was cutting back seeing as well he is worried about Evie being out there and he hasn't recalled seeing Ronnie at any either it was why he hasn't really seen her much. Riley finished his coffee, and stood to get in line for another. "Can I get you another? " he asked before, getting in line for some.

Ronnie didn't know that he seen her stake or vampire book since she knew that she hasn't been al that good with keeping her identity a secret all that much lately. She heard him say that school can do that to her and that he was doing good. She nodded her head and agreed silently to him about school taking a lot of her time away and along with her slaying duties as well.
She also heard him say that he got engaged. She smiled and said "I'm so happy for you Riley and I know what you mean with the ring and everything." She continued on smiling at him since she was so happy with him. She took another long sip of her coffee since she likes her coffee a lot. She nodded her head as she heard him say that she would be a pro in no time. She said "sure this is coming from a pro at the guitar." As she was kidding with Riley and she is sure that he knows that.
She then heard him ask her if she was staying here in England or going to her home for the summer. She said "Well I am staying in England since my family don't want me to go home right now since they are afraid that if I go home that I might not go back ro the school." She smiled at him before taking another sip of her coffee. When he asked her if she has been to any good parties lately. She said "No not really since my job, and school work are taking some of my time so I haven't been to any. How about you?" She added to herself in her head plus my slaying.if he could get her another coffee. She said "Yes please." As she finished her coffee up.

He didn't ever let her know he seen the stake and the book. He knew slayers were supposed to be secret so maybe he should ask Evie about her later on. Riley could keep a secret after all. So her secret was safe with him. If she told him after all. Sometimes it was good for things like this to be known by someone or they may eat you up alive from the inside out to the point that you feel dead inside and that no one understands you. Sure, the slayers have each other, but still it could kill not letting your friends and family know. Someone that could sympathize with what you are going threw and help make excuses for you when friends are looking for you.
He had told her that he got engaged, and she told him that she is really happy for him. "Why thank you. You know you are one of the first ones to think that. Most of my friends think I am nuts. My family is happy and all just don't want us jumping into things straight away, but a long engagement is good and I do think it will last." It was always good when you found that special someone and he knew if she was a slayer that maybe hard for her too and that is a sucky thing about that calling and he hoped that she would meet someone that she could tell the truth too like Evie does with him.
He had told her that she would be a pro at guitar in not time at all. He has had years of practice and has several different guitars at home. They are his babies as well as Patrick his and evie's fluff ball of a cat. "I am the master of guitar" he teased. "I rock and you know you want to be just like me." he said continuing to tease and pick on her a bit like good friends do. "Really if you get some practice in this summer i do think you will be really good at it in no time at all. Practice makes perfect." it really did help.
Riley asked her about if she was going home for a bit after school ends and she told him no that she wasn't because her family would think she wouldn't want to come back if she did. "You know you would come back you would miss me" he teased and there is some of that big headedness coming out. "How could you stay away from this and the parties that are thrown and the fairs and all the fun amazing stuff you know you love it." he hoped she did at least.
He had gotten up for more coffee asking her if she wanted one and got in line and gotten them some more sitting down and sliding hers over to her. "So we have talked about my relationship. Have you met any cute boys that you intend on seeing this year? Or are you even too busy with school for guys?" he asked interested in finding out.

Ronnie wanted to tell Riley about being a slayer but didn't know how since the only people she did tell her parents though which was the only reason why she came here besides getting accepted to the college she is going to right now though. She sighed as she said "Umm Riley have something to tell you about why I had a wooden stake and a weird book that is if you so them." As she looked everything besides Riley since she has never been good with telling people the truth about anything at all.
Ronnie was happy about him getting engaged since she was happy and she hoped that she would met someone like Evie did with Riley. She said "I am glad that you met someone that you want to be with for the rest of your life." As she smiled at Riley since she was a happy for her two friends that they met and that they fell in love with each other.
Ronnie really didn't know if she went back to the states if she would come back to England at all. When Riley said that she would come back for the parties and the other stuff. She said "True you and your big headedness." She smiled at him. She then heard him talk about that during the summer she would get better and said "Well I might get as good as you since you are the great guitar player." As she smiled at him some more.
When he came back with her coffee she took hold of the handle and took another sip of it. She heard him ask her if she met any cute boys at school. She raised on of her eyebrows and said "Riley do you want to talk about boys with me. And just to let you know I met one guy named Jesse and I think he is cute but I don't know yet if I like him or not." As she looked at Riley before taking another sip of her coffee and was happy with it.

Riley had been sipping on his coffee, when she mentioned she needed to tell him something about the weird book she had and the stake. He perked his brows at that. " Do tell, what do you want to tell me about them?" he asked. So she was going to confess it all. he wanted to hear this or would she write it down on a piece of paper?"Yes, I had seen them and it wasn't any of my business to ask what they were if you didn't want to tell me what they were." he said with a slight shrug and waited for her to explain. He was sure her watcher wouldn't be very happy with this now would she, but she can blow it out of her ass really because he already knows about slayers.
She had told him that she was happy for him again that he met someone that he wanted to spend his life with. Was it odd he feel for his best friend whom he has known for most of his life and feels like he has known her forever and a day even if they haven't. Life was changing in their lives because of slayer stuff, but he would never leave her. He loves her to bits and he did hope she knows that. "I actually came here to get her a birthday present, but don't really know what to get her. Odd eh?" It may have sounded a bit odd seeing as he is going to marry the girl one day and he has no idea what to get her as a gift, but hell girls probably think it is a guy thing.
When she had said she didn't know if she would come back if she went back to the states and he told her that she would miss the parties and him and said him and his big headedness. He gasped at that. "me, big headedness? For real?" he teased and was feeling his head. "It doesn't feel like it is a big head, just normal sized." he commented. He wondered if she did miss people in the states. She said she could possibly practice her guitar more, but as soon as she told him why she was busy he would understand why she hasn't had the time to practice full. "You got that right I am the best and I rock You can only hope to achieve my greatness!" he teased.
He had went and got them some more coffee. He loved the person who created it. It was a life saver really. It was one drink he loves and thinks it is the best in the world. He had gave her one, and asked her about boys and she asked him if he really wanted to talk with her about boys? Like she couldn't talk to him about cute boys. He does have lots of friends that are girls so the chatter about cute boys usually came up. "What can I say I love the latest who's hot and who's not gossip. It's so dramatic." yes it was dramatic and he did hear the gossip all the time and he has a gossip hound of a sister so he is sort of used to it. "I do after all have a sister who i hear chatter about boys all the time." he really was used to it. She said she met a guy named Jesse, but she told him that she didn't know if she liked him yet or not. "Playing hard to get are you?" he teased playfully, but knew well enough things take time.
He and Evie had beat around the bush for ages hiding their feeling for one another till it got to the point their friendship almost ended because it was so painful for her. It was painful for him too. He had made some drunken advances before, but could she tell if they had been real he didn't know but they have been together for a decent amount of time now and they were happy and are getting married one day. "I know you will find a really nice guy one day if you don't like this dude that is." with her being a slayer it could be hard, but if she finds the right one out there for her it wouldn't matter. He would be happy with her being happy. Like he is with all of his friends. He doesn't like when they are upset and are hating life, but he usually is a good shoulder to cry on. Was this why some people thinks he is gay? He is far from it.
"If you do decide to date this guy, I'll have to check him out." He told her acting like a protective older brother, it is how he is with Misty but Misty doesn't listen to him and is seeing this asshole that treats her like garbage. The guy needs his ass kicked a few times. Riley has tried beating him up once, but Riley got his own ass handed to him and Evie had to have remembered that night she took care of him. Now if he gets in Evie's face she could kick his ass for how he treated her when she was seeing that punk ass. "Perhaps we can arrange a double date if you do." but again with the slaying it probably wouldn't work unless it is lunch. These slayers really do have a tough deal.

Julian walked into the coffee shop, his curly unruly hair tied tightly behind his head. Some of the dark brown curls shining golden brown in the sun light. Huge "Cop Style" aviator sunglasses covered his eyes as he continued to walk in as if he owned the place. Of course he was about half an hour late but that wasn't unusual for the New Orleans native. He barely got to the counter before he realized he recognized two patrons. One, the girl he had seen around school and the other was a local mechanic. He knew their names like he knew most of the people around here. It was his job to have and hold connections from the top of the food chain to the bottom of the underground. Besides he was a people person by nature he lived to get to know people. Pulling his sunglasses to the top of his head he walked up to the two turning his attention to the person he actually knew, the mechanic Riley. He had sent many customers to him, telling him he was better than any big name shop in all of London, And when Julian Long said something it was golden. He smiled friendly at the mechanic "Heya Riley how goes it, heard you finally popped the question to that beautiful girlfriend of yours. Congrats." He replied taking a seat next to the young woman Riley had been sitting with. He poured on the charm as he flashed a devilish and flirtatious "And who might this breath taking beauty your sitting with be." He quickly but delicately grasped her hand laying a gentle kiss upon the back of her soft hand. Just as she was about to answer he could feel the presence of another behind him. He could see the shadow and knew it was the shift manager, Toby. "Do you plan on actually doing any work today Long." Toby asked sarcastically. He was new here and didn't like Julian at all. But like the rest of the people that surrounded the witch that would change. If it didn't Toby wouldn't be sticking around to long, Julian would make sure of that. He let go of the girls hand he had been holding and turned around quickly "No I don't think I will, but that won't be a problem now will it. Julian demanded staring the man in the eyes and again laying on the charm. This time the charms weren't natural. He concentrated on the man before him his eyes staring coldly at the manager. The pupils of his normal hazel eyes began to turn black until the entirety of his eye turned ebony. This charm was definitely magic. "Yea... Yea of course Julian I'm sorry to bother you. Julian smiled "Good boy of course you didn't." replied gently and playfully slapping the side of the mans face as if he were a puppy who had done a trick. The manager walked off shaking his head muttering to himself, Probably asking himself why he had just said that. Julian turned his attention back to the two people he had just been talking to. "So what are you guys drinking, need a refill?"Wearing: ThisLocation: Coffee Shop Comments: I hope you don't mind if I joined without asking
