I don’t know what’s right and what’s real anymore; I don’t know how I’m meant to feel anymore.
He was going insane; that was the only conclusion that Eli could come up with after three whole hours of pacing up and down his room. Every little thing was just driving him up the wall. He needed to do something, he hadn’t had a good fight or a good fuck in weeks and that was what he lived for. He felt like he’d been in a coma for the past month. He grabbed his leather jacket and headed out from his hotel room, moving down the corridor quickly and avoiding the woman at the front desk, who always seemed to want to chat him up no matter how many times he told her he wasn’t the slightest bit interested, and slipped out the fire exit.
He didn’t even know how he’d made it to the park, he couldn’t remember the walk here, but here he was, sat on the grass and staring straight ahead of him, not moving a muscle, not even blinking. He just sat there, miles away from everything. He was bought back to reality when a sharp pain shot through his finger then his leg. He jumped up from the ground in surprise. He stared down at the burnt spot on his finger then down to the cigarette that he’d allowed to burn all the way down to the filter like it was something that needed to be staked.
“Oh my g—are you serious? For fuck sake!” He shouted loudly, earning a couple of looks from people around him. He growled to himself and winced, he didn't really care about the wound since he'd had a thousand times worse, but the cigarette had made a hole in his brand new hundred dollar jeans. Of course he’d shop lifted them, but that didn’t really make any difference; he’d still have to get some more.

* -- !!Shopping, that had been the plan for the day. Rose needed to pick up a few things from the market nearby, as well as get the food shopping done and grab some things from her 'supplier', magical things that would have looked a bit wrong if she had gone to get them herself. However, the day had been so beautiful, the rays of sunshine a rare break in the dreary British weather Rose was all too familiar with. Winter had been... strange. Incredibly wet, and that was saying something, and a snow fall a few months back that had brought the entire country to a complete standstill. Rose hadn't left her house until it had thawed enough for her to consider safe.
* -- !!With everything packed into her car, a banged up old thing with more rust spots on it than actual paint, Rose had decided to take a stroll through the park nearby. She had time to waste, and no frozen items in the shopping considering most frozen foods had an insane amount of preservatives in them which Rose tried to steer clear of. She was a natural girl, but that came from the training she had. Nature was beautiful, nature could sustain life without any of this fake stuff. She was so natural that she even disliked coffee, or anything that would technically drug her body... except the occasional glass of sherry or wine... or a margarita. Okay, so alcohol was alright, it was made from berries and things that were classed as natural.
* -- !!Stepping through the colourful park, Rose took time to admire the flowers that had taken the opportunity to bloom into all their glory. The mowers had been out, leaving a refreshing scent of freshly cut grass that Rose just allowed herself to be enveloped by as she continued to meander through the people who had surface with the good weather. A small family played nearby, the parents watching protectively as their two toddlers ran around and rolled down the grassy slopes. She couldn't help but smile, all until a sound from behind her rang out, expletives that, although she wasn't a stranger to them... oh no, she and Morgana had a good many in their vocabulary, both knew this wasn't the setting for such words. Turning slightly, as not to completely face the boy but enough to get a glimpse in her peripheral vision, Rose arched her eyebrow, "Language, sonny."

He looked up to see who had told him off and stared at the woman, eyebrows furrowed and mouth slightly agape. ”Sorry, mom.” He replied sarcastically then turned around slightly, not so he had turned his back on her, just so she’d get the message to fuck right off. ”Fucking hell, no fucking peace.” He complained to himself and inspected the burn mark on his leg. As if he wasn’t in a bad enough mood already. He dropped back down onto the grass and crossed his legs. ”And my name’s not Sonny.” He shouted over to her, new cigarette hanging from his lips and he pulled out his lighter, taking a huge drag.

*-- !!Okay, Rose could have forgiven him if he's just apologised. He'd burnt his finger, she would have sworn had it been her but the fact he had been so incredibly rude to her made Rose purse her lips. To make it worse, it wasn't just his tone, what he said, he turned away from her. He wasn't even looking when he spoke to her. Now -that- was something she wasn't going to stand for. However, as much as Rose thought the kid deserved her hand swiped across the back of his head, that just wasn't her style.
*-- !!So Rose did what she did best. Heading straight over to the little prick, she sat down next to him, accidentally on purpose swiping her elbow at his head as she lowered herself down onto the grass. "Oop so sorry, these bones aren't as good as they used to be." Taking the cigarette from his lips, Rose smiled and stubbed it out on the green beside her, "Alright then, sonny, and yes I will continue to call you sonny until you introduce yourself nicely to me. These will kill you, which is fine, if you want to die choking and spluttering on your own blood, but there are children around, so try to kill yourself without involving them... or teaching them bad language."
*-- !!Not knowing whether the boy was just a 'normal' human, or something special, Rose wasn't going to go splashing her powers about to prove a point, but hey, if he continued to act like a douche then she might have to resort to some sort of accidental stuff, like there might just have to be a bucket of water come flying out of nowhere or something. However, Rose had a long fuse, she usually found the good in most people, "Now, let's start again. Hello, my name's Rose... you are?"

I don’t know what’s right and what’s real anymore; I don’t know how I’m meant to feel anymore. Eli jumped when he felt something connect with the back on his head. He turn to the woman with a shocked expression, mouth hanging open slightly. He grinned as she began to lecture him. He liked her already. He scoffed and frowned, "Oh please, I'll be dead long before the cigarettes can effect me." he informed her, and if he was going to die young then he might as well have a little fun. He reached back in jeans for another cigarette but found his pockets empty; he routed around in his leather jacket and opened a brand new pack, scrunching the plastic wrap and throwing it on the floor in front of him. He turned his head slightly so he didn't blow smoke all over the woman. "The kids are all the way over there! I'm no where near them!" Eli protested, and he'd stayed away from them on purpose, he fucking hated children.
"I'm Eli," He smiled, finally introducing himself, and transferred the cigarette to his other hand so he could shake hers. He extended it towards her then hesitated and pulled back. "You're not gonna like, turn me into a frog or something are you? I don't really have the best history with witches." he admitted sheepishly, remembering the time he'd woken up with no mouth after offending a witch. He didn't know if the frog comment would offfend her but it wasn't his intention.
