It was a wicked and wild wind, blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums..

A little known fact about Jack was that he was absolutely amused by people in movie theaters. There was always some kind of discussion going on somewhere, especially in the heavily populated cinemas where the most popular movies were playing. Now, Jack himself cared very little about actually watching a specific movie or seeing specific shows, but being around the people in the audience and laughing at their misfortune was one of the most entertaining things there was. He was still a young demon, only twenty years of age, but he still allowed himself free time to relax and unwind. Most people would not even think about a guy coming to the theater alone, but he still hated it.
It was one such night where he was able to get himself out of the business and was free of the voice, though he had no idea why, so he was getting a ticket and a bar of chocolate from the snack bar. The places here were always so expensive, but chocolate was delicious and he was not going to pass up a valid excuse to get some. Most of the time he had problems justifying buying chocolate, but if he was right here and was going to be sitting there in the dark anyway, might as well pick up something to munch on to stay occupied. It definitely was not the movie he was interested in.
There was some kind of romantic comedy playing that he had gotten a ticket for, but it was by far not his interest. It was just that these movies tended to have quite a few couples and that was always the most interesting conversation he would hear. They could fight, argue, sweet talk and all manner of other things during the movie. It was rare that men came in alone, but much less rare for women. He seemed to stick out, as well, and for Jack that was bad. Grumbling just a bit, he took a seat near the back and sighed. It might be a long day.
