It had been an eventful time of late. Understatement of the century? Possibly but Evie was set to not caring mode. It was a tuesday which meant Evie should be in college. Was she? No! Did she want to be? Honestly, she didn't know. This whole slayer thing was kind of exciting even though it was, well, completely and utterly terrifying. Besides her college course was beginning to feel useless. Child care - Would she even get the CHANCE to have kids with this gig? Let alone work with them. That'd be fun, when the vamps find her they'd have a bus load of youngsters to munch on. Great. As she sat there, waiting for someone to finally tell her what the hell was going on, Evie had her nose stuck into a book. This was completely characteristic of her. At home, at work, at college and at the council... She loved her books. Her best friend Phoenix was always telling her that working was useless but she'd been quite an amazing student in her day and she loved to soak up knowledge. She was using an old school trick though, the old one book to conceal something else. To the untrained eye she was reading a book devoted werewolves, however it concealed a favourite of hers - Little Women. Evie was sat in front of a desk, reclined in her chair with her shins pressed against the side of the desk, her thighs acting as a book rest as she read and let her right hand twist the pear shaped diamond ring that adorned her left aimlessly. Seriously how long was she going to be waiting here? She probably could have gone to class and come in afterwards. She didn't mind being here right now she was actually quite happy reading, but she'd been so long being anxious about this meeting with the council she sort of wished it was just all over and done with. --Meh, not my best work, I blame the time!! If you want me to add more then just drop me a PM! --

Ronnie Marie Johnson wasn't still quite yet use to her new life in London, England yet at all. She looked at her alarm clock when it started to buzz at her to wake up that she wasn't quite ready to get up. She sat up after she turned off her alarm and she looked around her quaint small apartment in London. Her landlord and his family nicknamed her American since she still has her Tennessee accent that still has stuck even though she has been here since the summer after she graduated high school in America. Her parents were a little bit upset with her the morning after she graduated high school when she told them that she was going to London, England for school. Yeah that is what her parents thought but she also came here for the Watcher's Council is here as well and that they wanted her in London then in America. So she packed her bags and headed to London.
Ronnie got out of her bed and took a shower as fast as she could. When she was done with that she got dressed in a pair of old jeans that have some holes in them that she has been meaning to cut into a pair of shorts but hasn't yet. She also is wearing a yellow tee shirt and a pair of black converses on her feet. She looked in her mirror before finishing with a light makeup on her face. She then packed her college bag with her books and her work clothes for later. Her hair is starting to wave some from not blow drying it but she didn't really care at the moment really. She grabbed her home keys and her cell phone as she was walking out her front door. Before she left her apartment completely she grabbed her necklace of a cross since she always has that on her. Not only because she is a slayer but also because she has been wearing one ever since her grandmother died of breast cancer when she was ten and she also wears the cross since it was hers and she also wanted a part of her grandmother with her wherever she goes in her life.
Ronnie locked the door to her apartment as she waved to her landlord and his family before walking out of the building and toward the college. She was half way toward her class when she remembered something about a watchers council meeting that day and that they wanted her there. She groaned as she had to walk away from the college and she texted one of the other workers to try and stall the manger since she was running a little bit late and that she might not make it there on time. Even though Ronnie already has a job as a slayer she also has another job to pay for her rent and her tution at the college that she is going to. Since Ronnie grew up on a farm in Tennessee since she has a horse there and what mostly everyone says is her life since her parents farm is her life since she grew up there and basically every one of her memory's was there.
She sighed as she moved back her long hair before walking into the watcher's council building. As Ronnie walked in she looked around the inside when she saw another slayer there appartently reading a book about werewolves. She walked over to the girl and sat down next to her and said "Hi I'm Ronnie Johnson did the meeting start yet?" As she looked at the girl with her Tennessee accent going into her sentence. She didn't mind if everyone knew that she was American since she liked it but sometimes it annoys her. Also in her bag for her college courses and work is some Slayer stuff like a stake just in case and a few books about vampires and werewolves neither of them have been touched by Ronnie yet. She took out the one about vampires and propped it up on her legs as she opened it up to the very first page and started to read. Also usually Ronnie is pretty good with studying for her Slayer stuff and even taking notes on some stuff. Ronnie thought Mental Note: Take notes on some stuff for Slaying and for school tonight after shift at the cafe and patrolling. She groaned at how much stuff she has to do just to be able to for slaying, school and for her self. She doesn't even have a lot of time to call back home to see how they are doing at all.
((sorry about it for being so long and you don't have to mirror how many pages i have at all!!))

As she heard footsteps enter the room, Evie's eyes averted upwards to view the young girl entering the room. Evie's gaze then followed the girl as she moved to sit down beside her and then offered up her name, introducing herself. Evie smiled and nodded. "Nice to meet you, I'm Evie!" She wasn't going to introduce herself as Everton, whenever she did it seemed to bring up the same conversations "what a strange name" "isn't that a football team" "who names their child after a place". She just couldn't be bothered with it. She had asked if the meeting had started yet and Evie actually found herself looking around the room. "I don't think so.. If it did they seriously neglected to tell me." Ronnie had pulled out a book too and went to reading it and so Evie continued to read herself and play with her ring. It was getting awkward and Evie, no matter how much of a shy bean she was, could barely stand this silence. She looked around the room slowly and then closed her book and placed it on the table. "I have Mario Kart in my bag... want to play 2 player?" Yes it was random!! Very random!! But yes, Evie pretty much always had a games console near by. It used to be her most important in bag item... Now that item was a wooden stake. Oh how times had changed for the petite brunette. Poor Evie was dreading this meeting. She knew her job was to protect people yet she'd already let someone die. Not just anyone either, her flaming watcher. The image of him laid there dead still haunted her but it was an imagery that she was probably going to have to get used to being a slayer and all. Death sorta seemed to be their main theme here at the council. Yet she was still worried she was in major trouble. A watcher had come out and sat at the table with them. This watcher looked about as nervous as she did and Evie knew for a fact she was a watcher as she'd seen her old watcher talking to the woman in the past. With the look on this woman's face, Evie wasn't too sure this meeting was going to be fun.

Ronnie smiled at the girl when she heard the girl say her name was Evie. She said "Nice to meet you Evie and your name is very pretty I like it." As she continued on being at the girl before the slayer returned her attention to the book about vampires. Ronnie of course doesn't excatly know why the watchers council invited her here today or maybe it had something to do with she has no watcher yet and she has been out patrolling and studying with out one.
When Ronnie thought about it that way she also seemed a little bit worried about the meeting today. She the heard the girl beside her ask here if she wants to play Mario Kart 2 player and she beamed at the girl and said "Sure." Since they are both here and not knowing if the meeting yet. After she said sure though a watcher came to sit in front of them looking also a little bit worried as they did. Since she was happy about that someone else likes to play a game that she did but of course she was also still supposedly still in high school but she graduated a year earlier then any of her friends so that she can come here and help the Watcher's Council.
Ronnie closed her book with her bookmark laying there so that she could now where she was after her busy day. If she knew that she was going to be this busy she wouldn't have gotten a job but she needed the other job to pay rent on her apartment that she is living at.
((Sorry for not anything special on my phone and got to spend the day with the fam again while I am doing my homework but gram doesn't have internet so I have to be on my phone so I can only talk through pm. Okay so I fixed it on my laptop but that well be like the only time i do!))

With Ronnie's wide smile and agreement to play Mario Kart, Evie grabbed her nintendo DS out of her bag and turned the little switch on. A loud jingle played through the quiet room and Evie bit her lip and swiftly turned the volume down. The watcher in the room gave her these almost evils but she could tell the poor girl looked stressed. Evie handed over the mini console to Ronnie, winking gently. "I'll let you be player one!" Lame as it sounded, Ronnie was one of the first slayers Evie had taken the time to talk to. It wasn't because she was rude or proud but because sometime she could be EVER so shy. The sound of doors opening filled the room. There were windows lining every wall and Evie noticed a man coming towards the door, however the watcher had rushed off her seat and run out, stopping him in his tracks. One thing about the watchers council was that it was pretty much all soundproof so as hell broke lose in the hall way Evie could see the female watcher apparently screaming at this man and flailing her arms about like it was no mans business. Evie wasn't going to lie... she was in total utter shock! She knew she should turn away but she couldn't stop watching. But in all honesty it just seemed like this woman was throwing a STROP! It wasn't long before the man had said something unknown to the watcher and pointed down the hall way then calmly and collectively entered the room that Evie and Ronnie occupied. "Miss Brett and Miss Johnson?" He asked, looking at a clipboard and then up at them. Evie had nodded and waited for Ronnie to respond. She had been told that that was indeed her surname but Evie wasn't going to toe step. The guy then asked them if they'd follow him. Evie grabbed her bag and her books and scooped them into her arms. She held out her hand for the DS and smiled at Ronnie. "We'll have to play another time... You'll just have to wait for your ass kicking!" She said, toddeling along after the man. Once they reached the end of the hall way the girls were encouraged to enter a huge doorway into a dimly lit, rather huge and luxurious office. They were told to take seats, so placing her stuff down onto the floor Evie did so. There was a little plaque on the desk saying Steven Puller so Evie assumed that was him. The watcher woman was in the room as well, sat on a chair pulled separately from theirs with a face like she was sucking a lemon. "Everton... Ronnie... This is your new watcher Belinda!"

After Ronnie agreed she watched the other slayer offer her the smaller verison of hers so that the can play she turned hers on and smilwed at Evie when she heard the noise that hers made. The watcher that was sitting in front of the two slayers were staring at them and made a weird look on her face when Evie turned on her DS.
When a door opened and the sound of it echoed around the room Ronnie looked toward the noise and saw that it was the main watcher. She heard Evie say that she can beat her in Mario Kart later and she said "well see about that with her accent still coming out while she talked which she didn't mind at all. She handed Evie back her small DS as they stood up and Ronnie grabbed her bag as she put her one book back in her bag before falling the two watchers and Evie.
When they got to the room the watcher pointed to the two seats for the two slayers to sit down. When all four of them sat down she heard him say there names and that the watcher behind them is their watcher. Ronnie said "Is there like a shortage of watchers since the last time there was one watcher watching over two was with Buffy and Faith which didn't turn out all that good from what I heard around." As she looked at the watcher she then said "I'm not complaining or anything I am just wondering that's all." As she smiled at the main watcher.

As far as Evie could tell, Ronnie seemed nice enough. They'd taken seats and been informed about the new watcher situation. The watcher still seemed really unhappy which made Evie not so keen to work with her. Evie's old watcher had been so kind hearted and loved his job. He lived for his job and well... died for it. Evie still felt awful for it, no matter how many times people told her it wasn't her fault, she struggled to believe it wasn't. Evie had never heard of one watcher shared between two people in fact she was starting to think it could be a case of you lose a watcher you're not getting another one. It soon became apparent however that Ronnie knew more than she did about slayers and watchers. She'd asked if there was a shortage of watchers or something. The guy before them simply told them that he thought it would be a greater benefit for the pair of them to work together. "The case in question was a unique situation that fell apart for completely different reasons and had nothing to do with the fact they shared a watcher." Evie just listened to them speak and picked at the shiny black polish that adorned her finger nails. The main watcher then turned to Evie. "Everton, do you have anything to say?" Evie just shrugged. "Well.. I mean... It's not like I have a choice in the matter... I just wish I didn't have to have one at all..." Evie could have seemed a little bit stroppy there but she was fed up of getting people hurt. "But i guess it could be good to have someone to train with... You seem cool enough." She said, turning and winking at Ronnie. Their new watcher then stood up. "Okay so we're going to organize our time correctly.. You'll have daily lessons with me from midday till five, then from five until sun down we'll train and then patrol afterwards until further notice. You will be allowed to go home and rest between the time patrolling finishes and your lessons begin." NAZI MUCH? Evie just sat there blinking rapidly. Was she joking? Surely she had to be... "Yeah... that's really not going to be happening!!" Evie said with a look of bemusement on her face. She looked to Ronnie to get an idea of whether or not she was with her on this. "I have a family and a fiancée and school work!!! You expect me to fit that and a good nights sleep into 6 hours of a day? It's insane!!!"

Ronnie had heard of two slayers sharing a watcher but that was only once and she knew that it was rare. She heard the person in front of them say that he thought it would be good for her and Evie to share a watcher. Evie didn't really like the idea but Ronnie didn't really care since she practiced on her own until the council called her up for this meeting.
Ronnie looked at her new watcher behind her and when she heard the plans that she had for them she was a loittle bit pissed. She said "How can you think that we well get a good nights sleep. Since I have school, then work from when I get out of my last class. There is no way either of us can get any of anything done at all." She was not really fond of her new watcher at all.

Evie was not happy and she was sure they could tell that and Ronnie seemed just as unhappy. "Yeah i don't mean to be rude, as important as slaying is... it doesn't exactly pay or anything. People need to live. It's ridiculous and how can there possibly be that much we need to know that we need to be here all day every day!!! I'm sorry no... If that's what you need from me i refuse.... YOU kill vampires... Because I wont!" Okay yes she was throwing a strop but thi had already interfered with her life enough as it is. The time she should have been celebrating her future had been spent fearing for her life. Evie wasn't even sure she was willing to argue with this woman about it, she was just going to walk away if it came to it. Could she walk away? It wasn't exactly a job. "Between us we're capable of sorting out times to train and study... Hell give me homework if you must but this can't take over my life!" Evie said as calmly as she could. "If I'm tired and upset and stressed I'm going to be sloppy and distracted so how does this 'plan' help you, really?" They were actually taken seriously which was a major shocker to Evie. They'd been sent to one of the many training rooms to practice some of their techniques while they spoke. Evie once more up rooted all her stuff and walked down and waited for Ronnie to follow. As soon as she hit the room she threw her stuff to the side of the room and slid down the wall to sit on the floor. "God can you say bitch much? At least my old watcher treated me like a human being!!"

Ronnie agreed with Evie when she said with what she said about slayers having a life of their own. Ronnie liked the way that Evie was going with this arguement with their watcher. She said that "I agree with Evie since its true that we also have to have a life besides slaying." When they got up to leave Ronnie grabbed her heaping bag of stuff and followed them.
When they got to the training room she heard Evie say that her last watcher treated her like a human being. She said "I never really had a watcher I just trained my self since back home I had a pretty big space to do that with." She smiled at that since she liked the way that she could train herself in her fields and pastures back home.
