This night started as every other one did, she woke up ten minutes before sunset, got dressed then left right after the sun fell below the horizon. Her destination? The local club, bar or whatever you want to call it that just so happened to be two doors down from her house. She opened the door and walked up to the bar Give me your strongest drink. She said, the reason that she ordered a strong drink was because her taste buds weren't able to taste human food or drinks that well. She waited for the Bartender to give her the drink. She took the glass out of his hand when he held it toward her and took a drink of it while looking around. It was full of humans and demons, some of them were dancing while others were like her and drinking. She wished someone would come and relieve her of her boredom.

It was yet another night packed in the pub, and she was working her little ass off, and it was time for a drink and to site back and relax a little, and watch all these humans and demons and other creatures of the night get their drink and party on. It was fun to watch some of these people make fools out of themselves. Anyone of these people out there could be slayers. You have to learn to spot them on site. They were like an infestation these days. They are everywhere. She remembered the time when there was just one. What happened to the good old days? It was good to be out and walking on this plain once again.

Times had changed and so have people. She strolled over to the bar, and seen a red headed girl sitting there all by herself. She slid onto the stool beside her. “I'll have Whatever is up on tap.” She had told her fellow co-worked. “Quiet night?” she asked the girl beside here. She looked rather alone and bored. Why wasn’t she out partying on the dance floor and having some fun? Was this not her scene? "You looked like you could use someone to talk to.” Lacey had stated. “ I am Lacey by the way, you are?” She asked and waited for the girl to respond. Taking her drink and sipping it down.
